day 220

Today starts really really busy time in our life. Lauren starts volleyball, Logan has football then tomorrow Lindsey has cheer, Logan has football and lauren starts softball. It will be like this for the next 8 weeks. Luckily for me, my kids truly love this. Last week they were upset when we had to cancel practices due to the rain. I just have to be more diligent about getting home, doing homework and getting to bed as soon as we are all home. It's a challenge, and I pray for my patience every night because it's truly tested.

Unfortunately, this afternoon, lauren while practicing for softball, somehow hit herself with her bat right on the nose. It's already swollen, I bet she'll have a black eye. but it could have been so much worse. She could have hit directly on her forehead. She could have hit her mouth and cut her lip on her braces or broken a tooth. She could have had her glasses on and broken them. Wait a minute, maybe if she HAD her glasses one she would have seen the bat coming towards her face, KIDDING. I know it was an accident. Poor baby.

Yikes! I sure hope that doesn't give her too much problem. Definitely sounds like you're a busy mom--isn't it great to see the kids having fun!

Ouch - hope Lauren's nose heals quickly! Sounds like your as busy as myself these days. And to think I thought once school start things would "slow down"..

Ahh yes... fall sports schedules. I have a love/hate relationship with fall sports too- I love that the kids get involved but I hate how hectic it makes things with trying to keep up with schoolwork too!

Poor Lauren! OUCH!

Ouch, Lauren! I love that Logan and Lindsay's uniforms match.
Your life is a lot like mine right now. I find it hard getting everywhere we need to go with only two so I can imagine how much more complicated it gets with three!

This is SUCH a busy time of year, huh? Really things seem to just start going and never stop. I really hope that Lauren heals up quickly. I was ALWAYS getting hit on the nose in sports, and it always gave me a black eye as well.
