So this weeks theme is focus. I guess my first post would have to show my main focus in my life. That's my kids. But secretly, for today at least, my focus was eyes. Now in these shots, I'm thrilled with the eye color, but everything else is all blown out. This is frustrating me! These are SOOC. The girls are shot at 1/160, 10 and 1600.
The first is Lauren, she's the older twin by 1 minute, but gets her by 20 lbs, and 3 inches today at 9. She's wonderfuly helpful, sassy if she doesn't get her way, way into sports, and loves her Mama. Next is Lindsey, she's my little pixie fashion girl. Such a generous, caring spirit, funny and joyful. Last is Logan, he's 6 and such a joy. He's into everything boy and all sports. Shot at 1/100, 10 and 1600 iso, which explains the noise. But it was pretty cloudy and this was natural light coming through a window.

What beautiful kids! I love the focus on the eyes in #3, really pretty!
That photo of your son is amazing! Love it! your girls are adorable also!
Cari
The shot of your son is really nice.
I wonder if you could have dropped the ISO a bit since these are so well lit. Your dds are very pretty girls!
Cute kids! Nice shots!
Your kiddos are GORGEOUS!
they all are cuties! #3 is a great photo!
Your kids are beautiful! Love the eyes on your girls! What I typically do is expose to my son's skin tone then in photoshop I'll do a screen layer on just his eyes at a low opacity if they're in the shadows.
Were you shooting manual or AV mode? Also...what type of metering did you do?
Still really cute even with the blowouts. Goodness knows I get a lot of these myself;)
Cute shots
great job on the eyes..especially your son..i've been having major problems with eyes so i'm trying to work really hard on that lately.
Very pretty. Such nice catchlights on that last one. I have a hard time with the lighting by a window too.
What a great job for SOOC!!! WTG.
I really like the light on the second one
Aww cute kiddos! Love no.3!!
I really like the one of your son. Sorry I can't help you, I stink at people photos.
So precious. They are really sharp for that high of an iso. I am impressed!
