Day 8

So I'm posting two times today. This is the one I officially want as the POTD. I am really "focusing" on eyes lately and I've been having trouble with toddlers. So today I babysat my cousins twin boys. They are 14 months and awesome sweethearts. I am really pleased with these. Of course, they were sitting pretty still while I played peek a boo behind the camera. Settings: Taken in AV mode, SS 1/25, 5.6, ISO 200.

Thanks for all the encouraging comments! You guys are making me feel worthy.

Their eyes are absolutely gorgeous and you did a great job keeping it in focus at such a low ss.

Did you use a tripod with the slow shutter speed? This is my biggest challenge lately, holding the camera still (and remembering to adjust white balance, and focusing, oh, and a dozen other things!) Great focus on their eyes! And your daughter snuggling with her cat is so cute!

I can't believe you got both of them to sit still! I can't get my 6 year old to do that!

A great job. Very nice focus and such clear colors. You should be proud of that one.
