A very important woman in my life is my Mother in Law, Vicki. She is an amazing influence in my life. I know that God perfectly placed her in my life. She's patient and always kind. She's loving and giving. She's always very positive and encouraging. My children adore her and I'm so grateful that she's in our lives. She and my FIL moved across the street from us about a year ago. I had many people who raised eyebrows and made comments like "Wow, how's that going to work?" I knew without a doubt, that it would be perfect. I only hope that she doesn't tire of my kids running over to grab cookies! LOL
She loves me and treats me just like her own daughter. And I love her also.

Awww... precious!
Nice to have family close, and wonderful to have that kind of relationship with your MiL
Oh that is so great that you are so close with your MIL..
How terribly sweet!
How lucky you are to be able to be blessed with such a loving relationship.
I love to hear people say nice things about their MIL; if you ever read the NSBR board at 2Peas you hear A LOT of complaining.
Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog and the compliments on my baseball shots. For settings I basically set a custom white balance, put it in AV mode (which I'm most comfortable with) and go as wide open as I can (my 70-300 will go 5.6 on the 300 end) so I get a high shutter speed, and shoot on burst mode. The 40D has been awesome for the burst so far! You can get a whole pitch from windup to follow-through. With the Rebel I always set my ISO to 400 because beyond that I got noise, and with the 40D I've been experimenting with higher ISOs even in bright daylight. Hope that helps!
How wonderful to have her so close. I pray I have a good relationship with my dil to be. Only thing is ds#1 (25)and #2(23)aren't interested in full time girlfriend let alone marriage.
You are making me cry again! :)
So super sweet and wonderful that you have such a great relationship!!
And, I do my studio shots in my garage using natural light! I still haven't even come close to mastering studio light...lol!!
How sweet! I wish I had a MIL sometimes. I've only heard the bad part of MIL's but yours sounds like such a special person.
Oh PS. on my blog the little boy in the hat with my grandpa is me. Gotta love my Mom for keeping my hair short. lol
so great that you get along so well with you MIL. love the relationship you caught here.
That is great that you are close to your in laws! It is a nice change to hear good things about MIL! Great shots.
So glad you have a nice relationship with your MIL. I do too and it's a huge blessing!
She sounds like an amazing woman!
You sound very blessed to have such a wonderful MIL and for your kids to have a loving grandmother!
What a gift to have such a wonderful relationship with her. It's always nice to hear people say things like that about the in-laws. Mine are fabulous and have always treated me like one of their own. I'm glad you have that, too!
Great shots - so nice to have a good special relationship like this!
what a sweet post and lovely pictures, too!
How great to have such a loving relationship between the 2 of you! And I love that 2nd photo. She looks so pretty, and the interaction between the two is very nice.
She looks so nice and i love the picture of her and her hubby. I really do wish my MIL and mother would move across that street from me. That would be amazing.
